The guerilla group EPR has declared an interest in resuming negotiations with the Mexican government's Mediation Committee. The EPR is most famous for blowing up some gas ducts in 2007, which brought many businesses (including a Volkswagen plant) to a standstill as a result. The group is seeking information about the abduction (allegedly by government forces) of two of its members in 2007.
