The PAN is taking it on the chin as the week closes: a new poll shows its candidate is down six points in Nuevo León, Ortega and Paredes took aim at Martínez over the country's insecurity (both physical and economic) in last night's debate, and, most seriously, a candidate for deputy in Sonora was attacked. He survived, but two people travelling with him did not.
Also, a PRD candidate for mayor in a small Jalisco town was killed in a car wreck yesterday.
