Good Suggestion

Calderón, in what may be his first comments on the null-vote movement, argued that not voting and null voting made democracy less effective, and widened the gap between the governors and the governed:
We want better parties? Let's make those parties, participate in those parties, and if those parties don't convince us, let's make others.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Calderón also called for legislative reelection, and reminded the audience that he had sponsored a bill to make congressmen and mayors eligible for reelection when was in the Chamber of Deputies in 2002.
