Thoughts on the NBA Finals

I wasn't aware that Jameer Nelson played Bodie on The Wire.

Pau Gasol and the Lakers front court look a million times tougher in this series than they did against the Nuggets.

If Kobe drives, the only way he's not getting a whistle is if the defender runs into the third row to watch him dunk it uncontested. He got three calls in the fourth quarter last night that were simply insane.

The ESPN Deportes announcer refers to Rafer Alston exclusively as Skip to My Lou, which is fantastic.

If the Magic can shoot 75 percent in the first half, and 63 percent on the game, and still only win by four points, the team's overall chances are slim like Jim.
