Not the Best Case to Be Made

Perredista Alejandra Barrales on abstention:

"It's offensive that today there is a call for people not to vote, because they say that they are going to let the parties and the politicians know that people are mad, as if that were the only reason," she reproached.

I agree with her point, but I think that a good way to motivate anyone to do X is to say, "Politicians will be offended by you doing X".
