GM's Mexico branch is spared the bankruptcy of its American cousin; GM suppliers and employees will continue being paid.
Update: In response to the bankruptcy, Mexico is opening a line of credit of $425 million to auto parts manufacturers. Also, GM boss Fritz Henderson singled out Mexico and Brazil as nations that would play a key role in the new, post-bankruptcy GM.
