Odd Reference

Felipe Calderón has made a habit of criticizing Mexicans who speak badly of Mexico to non-Mexicans, yet when he went to Germany, he compared the challenges his country faces to the horsemen of the apocalypse. The speech was basically positive, and the problems he outlined (drug trafficking, the flu, drought, et cetera) are indeed quite serious (though they fall far short of, say, nuclear war) but his criticism of pessimistic Mexicans becomes even sillier when he himself literally describes Mexico in apocalyptic terms.
