Huge Bust

Today in Manzanillo, the navy seized 80 tons of the drug phenylacetate, an important precursor chemical to crystal meth, coming from China. This is the largest such seizure in Mexican history. With American marijuana producers pushing Mexicans out of the American market, one would expect meth to take up a bigger piece of the pie in Mexico, which means similar busts are likely in the future.
