It's not much a surprise to see that Mexico is the world's top consumer of bottled water. Indeed, 13 percent of the bottled water in the world is ingested in Mexico, which, as home to less than 2 percent of the world's population, is the world's eleventh largest nation. The biggest reason is, of course, that no one can count on clean water coming from their tap, but also the excessive publicity for water bottled water.
