A Hazard of Law Enforcement in the World's Deadliest City
Juárez daily El Diario reported earlier this week that the PGR was offering a 3 million-peso reward for the capture of a man who has been dead for months. On the one hand, you can't blame an agency for letting a couple of deaths slip under the radar in a town that's seen 5,000 of them since 2008. At the same time, how many rewards of this size (roughly $250,000) are they offering?
