Something We Don't See Much Of

One of the 2,200 arrested individuals in a massive nationwide sweep lasting close to two years turns out to be a Texas police chief. I've not seen any comment on this in the US paper, but of course the Mexican press is eating it up.

As always, painting these huge arrests as blows to Mexican gangs, which the government is doing here and has done many times in the past, is something we should be suspicious of.
