Bad News
I don't think we have a complete picture of what exactly preceded the killing of a 14-year-old Mexican boy by a US Border Patrol agent, but it goes without saying that the Border Patrol needs to avoid those sorts of episodes as often as is humanly possible. There have now been two such incidents in a month, which certainly suggests that they aren't doing so. If the boy's mother's side of the story is accurate, the death is more worrying still: she says he was shot on Mexican soil from point-blank range, and that he was not throwing rocks at the officer.
