One piece of news that may or may not be consequential (depending on whether or not the principals respect the unity pledge) is the renewal of the Broad Progressive Front, which unites the PRD, PT, and Convergencia under one electoral banner, ahead of the 2012 elections. It will be called Dialogue for the Reconstruction of Mexico, or DIA for short, and will be headed by AMLO loyalist and former Ebrard mentor Manuel Camacho.
