Arms Seizures

According to the secretary of defense, the number of arms confiscations in Mexico has leaped by 1,603 percent since 2007, from 5,216 to more than 83,000 in 2010. The states with the highest number of seizures are Baja California, Michoacán, Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Tamaulipas.
