Tracking Trust
Despite the opinion-maker's overwhelmingly positive reaction to Hillary's stay in Mexico, a strong undercurrent of mistrust among regular Mexicans persists. Fifty-three percent of the respondents to a Beltrán-Excélsior poll said that Clinton's visit was the same as any a foreign secretary would make, and 60 said that they don't believe her affirmation that Mexico is among the most important nations in the world for the US.
