New Report
The Washington Office on Latin America is set to release a report showing that despite the American and Mexican and Colombian governments' best efforts, cocaine is purer and more abundant than ever on the streets of the US. I'm interested to see what the report (which is not yet on the WOLA website) concludes about the price of cocaine; if it convincingly demonstrates that the recent rises in the price of cocaine were temporary, that (along with availability and purity) would seem to negate every pillar of the argument for an aggressive American focus on supply.
