Sad Repetition

Excélsior's front page is devoted to the kidnapping and murder of the teenage child of a produce magnate in Mexico City. This of course triggers memories of Fernando Martí, the 14-year-old heir to a sporting goods fortune whose murder last summer led to the 100 Days to Improved Security countdown, which Excélsior played a big role in promoting.
