We Dare You to Come

A number of hotels in Cancún are offering three years of free vacation to any tourist who contracts the influenza while staying at their hotel. That's a good idea, and one they should market aggressively. My only reservation that when I was in college, I knew at least a dozen people who would figure that contracting a bug with a 95 percent survival rate was a risk worth taking for three years of vacation in the Caribbean. They would probably spend the first day trying to buy a vial of the bug in a pirate pharmacy.
