Extradition?
Mexico has filed a petition to extradite Napoleón Gómez from Canada. The exiled labor leader is accused of having defrauded his union of $5 million. He's been in Canada for years, and a warrant for his arrest was issued in July. Why the delay?
Just a guess, but Canadian companies have enormous mining investments in Mexico. The Canadian gov. would probably rather not run afoul of the mining union.

That makes sense. Do you think they'll reject the petition then? Where would that leave Canada-Mexico relations?
