Helpful Adverb
My God, Christian Bale is an awful person. In terms of the intensity and personal enmity, it was like a Bob Knight or John McEnroe highlight, only pettier. I love how toward the end of his psychotic rant he says, "Seriously man, you and me, we're fucking done professionally," leaving a window open for he and his beratee to continue a healthy social relationship, just not a professional one. Very forgiving of him.

Well ... I dunno the context, and I've experienced worse. And ... well ... stones and glass houses and all that. (There was this incident in a car, in Mexico City, once. Ugh.) I wouldn't call Bale awful, just strung-out.
FWIW, I've been told that Bill Clinton did that sort of thing all the time.
Hey, I've got to defend my fellow pendejos, you know.
Hey Noel,
Defend away!
Of course I don't know him, and maybe strung-out would be a better label than awful, but I can't say I'd be excited to work within a six-block radius of him. Or even pay any money to see a movie he stars in. Maybe Bale did calm down shortly thereafter and buy the guy a Chevy, which I've read was the typical pattern with Clinton (minus the car), but I dont think our 42nd president should be the benchmark for being a good guy. Nor probably any president, for that matter. Although the guy in the oval office today certainly doesn't seem like a hothead. I'm not sure I've ever heard about him losing it one someone.
