Slim Warning

A few days after President Calderón warned against Mexicans being overly "catastrophist" in their pronunciations about the country's economic straights, Carlos Slim sounds an alarm that is, if not quite catastrophist, then awfully dire. Among the consequences of the downturn: plummeting GDB, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and widespread bankruptcy.
