I am terrified by the idea that, in a few more years, technology with allow any citizen to do the work of the reporter. In fact, that's already started to happen: even the successful news shows clamor for the public to send editorial departments images taken with cell phones and, through this, to obtain splendid novelties. Meanwhile, we journalists have to spend hours over the keyboard.
