Revolving Door

Given what I said yesterday, this seemed appropriate: Pemex chief Jesús Reyes Heroles recently awarded a contract for maintainance of oil pipelines to the American company Mexssub, for whom he had lobbied as recently as 2005. In his capacity as a lobbyist, he had unsuccessfully tried to land Mexssub the very same contract that he ended up approving as director of the company/governmental agency.
