The PSD will run a gay candidate named Miguel Antonio Galán in the Guadalajara mayoral race. He has little chance of winning, but bully for the PSD. I wonder if the day when we see a homosexual major party candidate (it would have to be the PRD) is far behind.
I hope you won't think it overly adolescent of me to point out the comedy that is his last name. Galán, which is not a common surname in Mexico, is a mildly sexualized word that could be translated as "hunk" or "hunky."
