Photos

The two photos posted to the left are popular snapshots of Mexican kingpin and Forbes' 701st richest man on the planet Chapo Guzman, or so we're told. One of the two often accompanies stories in the American media about Guzmán; Forbes used something like the former shot in its write-up. But are they really the same person? I don't ask as a conspiracy theorist or anyone privy to special information, it just occurs to me that the two photos don't look anything alike. The first is a jailhouse shot from the 1990s, so we can be assured that it really is Guzmán. It's not illogical that he would gain weight once out of prison, but even beyond a few extra pounds, the facial features in the second shot look totally different.
