Winning the Facebook Primary
Animal Politico takes a look at the presidential contenders' social networking capability, and shockingly finds Enrique Peña Nieto in first place, with 15 groups and close to 9,000 friends. He is followed by AMLO, Josefina Vázquez, and Alonso Lujambio. Somewhat oddly, given that his base of power is one of the world's largest metropolises, Marcelo Ebrard has 5 groups dedicated to him and just 671 friends, which places him way down on the list.

The figures regarding "likes," rather than friends - given Facebook's restructuring and limitations - are even more dramatic: Peña Nieto has more than 275.000!

Yeah I'd forgotten about that. That's a huge lead, for whatever it's worth. And again, Ebrard is way behind.
