From my point of view, the drug problem we have here is of a geopolitical type, commanded by our neighbors to the north. Not a whole lot to dispute there, just that it's strikingly one-sided in its diagnosis.
At first it all started with a focal point of drug distribution, which was Miami, then it didn't work and they chose Colombia, and now they thought that Mexico was more suitable...
Unfortunately, we have an enormous trafficking problem, we wouldn't say that the most important is the traffic of drugs, but rather of arms, containers packed full of sophisticated arms of the highest quality continually pass from the United States to our country without [our having] anything to combat them.
[Break]
And if the consumption in the country to the north isn't slowed down, there will continue to be a flow of drugs from South America, Central America and Mexico to the United States, and a trade and flow of sophisticated arms coming in our direction from the United States, and all this is to the misfortune of our Mexican population.
