Sarko in Mexico

Nicolas Sarkozy is in Mexico visiting the sites and hanging out with Felipe. I'm not quite sure why he would visit Mexico, given the countries' lack of a vital relationship (there are only 13,000 French citizens in Mexico, and neither is a major trading partner of the other), but he's had the chance to pose for lots of fun photos. We learned that Sarkozy supports Mexico's fight against drug-trafficking, which is good of him, but I'm not sure what that entails, nor what the alternative would be. The whole thing has been made even weirder by the fact that a Frenchwoman was just sentenced to 60 years in a Mexican prison for her role in a kidnapping gang. I guess this is what people talk about when they refer to Sarkozy being less than serious.

Whatever, let's just listen to this tune from his first lady. It's a dope number, even if I don't understand a word. (Although I think heard the French version of "tristeza" in there, which would go with the mood.) Strum it, Carla!
