Not Perturbed

According to a poll from BGC-Excélsior, Mexicans do not look poorly on illegal recordings that catch politicians in illegal or unflattering situations. Seventy-one percent say that it's a good crime-fighting tactic, with less than half saying that such activity could constitute a violation of privacy. The most recent example of such recordings are the tapes of Fidel Herrera, but the practice has a long history in Mexico.
