Another Territory for Mexican Traffickers

In the northern part of the country, Nicaraguan authorities found an arsenal --among the items were M-16s, AK-47s, grenade launchers, and TNT-- that they say belongs to Sinaloa traffickers. For whatever reason, it seems like you hear a lot less about Mexican criminals in Nicaragua than in Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and especially Guatemala.
