Big Arrest

Twenty-one alleged gunmen working for the Tijuana crime boss Teodoro García have been arrested by the PFP in that border city. A weapons stockpile was also seized.

As long as were talking about government accomplishments, a little more than a year into the Chihuahua military deployment, the government says it has seized 99 tons of marijuana, 39 kilos of cocaine 451,000 psychotropic pills, 1,200 firearms, and more than 100,000 bullets.

Lastly, the drugs seized by Mexican authorities are valued at just under $6.7 billion, which sounds impressive until you consider that it's a mere 5 percent of the industry's (loosely) estimated profits.
