We're Done! Or Not
Earlier today, El Universal reported that Manlio Fabio Beltrones, the leader of the PRI in the Mexican Senate, had broken off relations with President Calderón in response to the revelations last month that Mexico's spy agency was keeping tabs on congressmen, including Beltrones' family. Now, Beltrones says the reports about the split are untrue, but that there remains "a great deal of indignation." He also referred cryptically to a document that appears to have been compiled by the government, though he said that Secretary of the Interior Juan Camilo Mouriño personally denied having anything to do with it.
