Pirates of Mexico City
As anyone who's ever taken a leisurely stroll down one of Mexico City's heavily trafficked pedestrian avenues can tell you, there is quite a bit of pirated merchandise for sale in the nation's capital. So there's no surprise in this piece of news that Mexico's equivalent to the Justice Department seized some pirated material. The quantity, however, is striking: 18 tons of CDs and DVDs. They also discovered 20 labs used for creating the pirated discs, as well as 10 silkscreening workshops used for making replica shirts.
