An article in the Washington Post today from the former Americas editor of the Wall Street Journal about where the rescue of Ingrid Betancourt and 14 other FARC hostages leaves Colombia's security situation. 

This BBC link has a soundless but still joyful video of the rescue flight, though the moment when the guards are subdued is not included.
