Legend Versus Welshman

Roy Jones, Jr. and Joe Calzaghe are set to meet September 20. Calzaghe is the favorite, since Jones hasn't looked like a top fighter since 2003, but I think this will be a competitive fight. Calzaghe doesn't have the pop to hurt Jones the way Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson did, and even at his advanced age, I think Jones still has the speed and reflexes to throw Calzaghe off his game.

This weekend, Tony Thompson takes on Vladimir Klitschko. This Thomas Gerbasi profile makes Thompson seem like a nice dude, and as a 6-foot-5 southpaw he has the frame and style to give Klitschko fits, but the Ukranian's still got to be the pick. Thompson has nothing in his track record to suggest that he can take down Little Brother Vlad.
