Calderón says that the recession is over, which isn't really a great piece of news, since the data upon which he's basing the pronouncement has been known for several days. Far more spiriting is a stat I'd not heard: 80,000 jobs were created in October, despite the LyFC takeover that alone added 44,000 unemployed Mexicans to the ledger.
