Throw the Bum Out!
It would be a bit foolhardy to put too much stock in Mitofsky's preliminary polling for the next governor's race in Puebla, given that Mario Marín will not leave office until January of 2011. However, the fact that the PRI is leading in voter preferences (41 to 18 percent over the PAN, with 34 percent undecided) is a damning indictment of the state's electorate. There is substantial evidence that the PRI's Marín protected child pornographers and had Lydia Cacho kidnapped. What would all those people planning on voting for the PRI need to see for them to lose faith in the party? A televised murder?
