Reaction to the Budget

Everyone seems to agree that the governors, who will collectively receive around $4 billion in federal transfers, were the budget fight's big winners. Excélsior reports that Calderón was less than thrilled. El Universal says that the PAN's senators are unhappy with the lack of transparency established for local spending, and that they may request that Calderón veto the bill.
