That doesn't capture all my concerns about this mouse misadventure. But it's better than that bland and empty G.
I can imagine no convincing reason to write the preceding as two sentences. Slate is far from alone; unfortunately, virtually every mainstream print media outlet does it. The compound sentence is, like the microprocessor or penicillin, an innovation we are silly to ignore. One day, I'm going to start a one-issue pressure group loosely modeled on Club for Growth aimed only at beating back this malign trend.
