Lack of Confidence
According to Mexico's federal statistical body, the nation's index of consumer confidence fell by 20 percent in the year leading up to December 2008. It went from 105.6 to 84.1, the worst drop since the agency started recording the info eight years ago. A bit like quarterback ratings (especially in college), I know this is a bad thing, but I can't make much sense of the numbers themselves.
