New Year's Gift

Mexico extradited three kingpins from various cartels (El Chuy from the Arellano Félix cartel, El JC from the Gulf Cartel, and El Tigre, a Colombian with links to Sinaloa kingpins) to the United States. The last of these was the boyfriend of Sandra Ávila, La Reina del Pacífico, which, amusingly, is the angle with which Excelsior is treating the story. It's not the extradition of a dangerous man, but rather the extradition of the ex of a famously attractive woman.
