The United Nations has issued a report about Mexican cartels' increased used of Central American gangs to serve as their emmisaries in Europe. More than 200 members of groups like Mara Salvatrucha have been arrested in Europe in the period on which the report focuses. Evidently, they have the gang-members remove the notorious facial tatoos before sending them abroad so as not to attract too much attention. Probably a smart move.
