Good Idea
Mexico has been experimenting with a preschool English program that evidently provided excellent results where it was tested. This ideally would replace the present English program, under which public school students don't begin studying English until seventh grade. Given the high level of integration between the American and Mexican economy, and given the enormous difference in difficulty for a student who starts learning a language after the age of 12 as opposed to one who starts five years earlier, this change should implemented on as wide a basis as soon as possible.
