Progressive Capital City

Mexico City continues its string of visible progressive policy changes:
The government of the Distrito Federal seeks to regulate prostitution in the capital of the country, and to that end local authorities have initiated conferences of analysis and debate with representatives of sex workers from across the city, with the goal of designing a law, or short of that, regulations that put order to the exercise of this activity.
Nothing like a 59-word opening sentence to grab your attention. The above measure follows the plastic bag prohibition, the legalization of abortion, stricter regulations for separating trash, and a public bicycle system.
