Ominous

Authorities are wondering whether a new death squad is responsible for a recent rash of murders in Guerrero, where extra-legal death squads were prevalent in the 1970s and '80s. Evidently, 21 people were killed in the state over the weekend, and 16 of the bodies were decorated with a declaration from someone calling himself the Jefe de los jefes, a previously unheard-of figure. Six more bodies in nearby Morelos have also been found with notes from the same boss. The above link does not have a whole lot of information about who were, which would presumably tell us a bit more about the perpetrators.
