Annals of Unnecessary Sentences

The execution-style murder of a CFE employee in Morelos is receiving a lot of attention here, which makes me wonder if police suspect that it is connected to the dispute between the government and the LyFC, or if the attention derives from other circumstances (she was a woman, she was on her way to her daughter's school, she had evidently been receiving threats for weeks). Unfortunately, Mexico's news agencies have not shed more light on the crime. Indeed, one of them (Notimex) ended its summary with perhaps the most superfluous sentence to ever take form:
The investigations of the PGR will focus on finding those allegedly responsible for the intentional homicide.
