Opening Night
The three turnovers against such an overmatched adversary were more than I'd like, and I'm not crazy about teams that score 28 fourth-quarter points (14 of them coming on passes from the first-team QB) against what is essentially 1-AA opposition, but otherwise, it was a successful first outing at Neyland for Coach Lane. There's a lot of talent in the backfield, the offense was moving like it hasn't in years, and the defense looked as though it hasn't missed a beat after losing John Chavis. But then again, Kiffin's tenure won't be remembered for blowouts of the Hilltoppers.
