A few weeks ago we mentioned how Marcelo Ebrard was doing a great job looking presidential-ish. Not to be outdone, Enrique Peña Nieto's fourth Mexico State informe, positively overflowing with presidential pomp (and pompousness!), has received as much loving attention as a newborn baby does from its grandparents. Even up here in Coahuila, some six states away from Mexico, the reports on his informe were all over the news. Much of the content of the informe, such as the declaration of war on poverty and insecurity, made it seem as though his local constituency was only a secondary audience.
The ball's in your court, Marcelo!
