Cutting Costs
Felipe Calderón's $40 billion stimulus plan is now without "an engine", with around $6 billion in public spending having been cut because of a lack of financing. Much of the reporting is focusing on the $1 billion cut for the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, which promises the suspension of dozens of infrastructure projects.
