Controversial Comments
It's hard to know if Rafa Márquez's recent praise of the US soccer program was meant as a thumb in the eye to the guys running Femexfut, or if it was the transparent old Lou Holtz trick of exaggeratedly kissing the rear of the next team on the schedule. Whatever the case, Mexico's most prominent player hailing the lack of turnover in the US coaching job (just two coaches in ten years) has raised eyebrows here, what with Mexico's five coaches in three years.
